-love is like a caterpillar being held in your hand. Held too tight, you crush it and everything it could have been. Hold it too loose and it drops away into the void. You must hold it and nurture it just right, with the utmost care and consideration so that, in time, it grows and thrives into something different. Something beautiful and amazing.
-when you love someone you don’t keep it inside, hidden. You say it, you show it, you let that person know that they are everything to you. For if you wait too long, that love could just disappear. Don’t spend your time wondering “what if” it’ll eat away at you like a c
I wallow in despair,
As I’m sitting alone in this chair.
Tears in the dark
With a pain in my heart does anyone even care?
The demons here they tear,
A hole in my heart; unrepaired
I fight them back on a constant attack
And find myself gasping for air.
I scramble in the dark, for a light in my heart
To show me that hope is still there.
Hello? Is anybody there?
To help pull me from this despair?
Feel the chill in the air
Nature’s beauty everywhere
Birds that chirp
Squirrels that zing
Does that trot and Cardinals sing
Hills rolling; trees standing tall
All upon an endless bluff
But time grows short, and I must depart
I shall always keep this place in heart
I love you like the sun loves the moon
I love you but you don’t know I do
Forever chasing in an eternal dance
Will you give me that chance at happiness?
To be mine till the stars cease their shine?
You and I, our hands intertwined
Blazing a trail towards the unknown
my strength you have, my heart you hold
If things were as simple as light side and dark side that’d be nice. Human beings are full of dualities though
I am dark and I am light
I am a killer and a healer
I am a warrior and a philosopher
I am wise and I am dumb
I am a lover and a hater
I am violent and I am peaceful.
I am a hunter and a gatherer
I am a jock and a bookworm
I am a father, a son, and a brother
A human being is nothing but dualities and contradictions, we are all born with both light and dark inside of us that will wage a constant war throughout our lives. Both light and dark giving ground just as often as taking it. One cannot survive without the other and with
I long to hold her in my arms, underneath nature’s stars.
Ivory skin as soft as snow.
The trust I’ve given her I’ve never shown.
Delicious red lips speaking comforts and cares, with her laughter chiming bells I hear.
Honey green eyes strengthened from sorrow, she always works for a better tomorrow.
Amazing and beautiful in every sense of the word, a Winter’s cool touch on a hot summers day.
I knew it would happen
But it hurts no less
When it feels like my heart
Has been ripped from my chest
And yet I still love you
And that makes it worse
To feel like my love
Will always be cursed

if you’d like to get to know me feel free to ask, otherwise I don’t think there’s much to tell. I’m just your normal, average, working class man who’s weird and strange to other people
I’ve been a member of Deviant Art for a number of years, most of it spent appreciating other people’s gifts of artistry. I feel as though I don’t have that gift, that being said one of my closest friends has convinced me to post some of my writings. ...
